Being good to your fellow man

It always amazes me how we treat each other.  We take out the frustrations of the day on each other.  We take each other for granted.  And whether we mean to or not, we really have to think about whether or not we are being good to each other!

Yesterday was a rough day for me.  I had rude people to deal with, I was feeling overwhelmed with the demands of the day, and I even thought my ever-loving husband was angry with me!

I took this all the way into the evening, where I was tearful, and aggitated!

I had to go to the grocery store, where I had an altercation with an angry woman.  I stayed in my car, for fear of anything worse than I was willing to handle.  I was angry too, because I feared her in a certain way.

I woke this morning with a fresh perspective on things.  She probably had a rough day, and was, after all, a child of God just like I am!  She has feelings and concerns, and is human!  I started to look at her in a different light.  Yes, she was angry, and a little scary, but she is human, and in need of understanding just like any of us!

Today is a new day, filled with new challenges.  With God's help, we will not be such a threat to each other, but a celebration of God's love that is in each of us.

I pray for the day when we will be together in perfect harmony, in the presence of our loving Father, in Heaven!
