Sunny days!

I'm so excited to see the sun! Oh how I've missed you our golden star!

It feels so warm on my skin, and the blue sky can shine through!

It's funny how the sun, and the warm weather, contribute to our moods. When it's cloudy, and especially cool, I for one feel blah...

A good example of this is Victoria.
As those of you who live there, it gets cloudy, then sunny, then cloudy...but it's warm! There's no snow that settles in for months and months, there are flowers year round, and the ocean is there. Needless to say, I love it rain or shine!

We're not so fortunate here. We see no sign of life until Spring, and I'm sure spring is here! With temperatures soaring to 13 degrees, life is good! I feel the strength of the sun, and soon buds will leaf...flowers will grow!

I can't wait! This sunny warm day has me singing thanks to our Lord and Father!

Cheers!

One of those Days

Have you ever had one of those dsys when you felt like you were in the "twillight zone"?

I had a good sleep, filled with a lot of action. I'd been on a motorbike ride last night and was still, sort of on the ride, and still visiting those friends!

I had the hardest time waking up, and so did my husband!

I've lost about an hour so far, although everything was completed on time this morning!

It's hard to explain, but it is a wierd day for sure!

Have a good one!

Anxiety

Have any of you ever felt anxious about anything? Lately I've felt under siege. I can see and feel the attack, but I cannot see my attacker.

I read this book called "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway". In it the author speaks of our "chatter boxes". These are little voices in our minds that sort of chatter.

We should all learn how to control our chatter boxes, for sometimes the chatter is a destructive force.

I've. been trying to lose weight. Before any of this can be accomplished we must allow ourselves to be imperfect, and just have the desire to be healthy, and in time, slimmer!

Here's where my chatter gets me. I often feel that my weight loss represents some failure in me. While I did indeed neglect what needed to be done, that certainly does not make me a personal failure does it?

Other things set me off, and I feel like that fly on the wall, watching me have a tantrum, or simply being angry or sad! I don't want to be like this. That fly has told me to tell my chatterbox to calm down.

I also need to read that book again! I need to be patient when things don't go my way, and to just go with the flow!

Have a great day!
